The Veolia North America (VES) Detroit area location is staffed with field personnel and technical support to provide turnkey environmental services to clients throughout Michigan. VeoliaES-Westland offers on-site services for drum management, laboratory chemical packing services, sampling and classification of unknowns, reactive chemical handling, bulk and containerized transportation and disposal services, disposal of PCB contaminated electrical equipment, site remediation, and information management services. This location also performs household hazardous waste (HHW) collections for communities and businesses across Michigan.
VeoliaNA-Westland is capable of managing all types of hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams for a given generator, including universal waste. By operating a ten-day transportation hub, this location can pick up a full array of waste streams for recycling, fuels blending, stabilization, incineration, and landfill. This location primarily utilizes Veolia owned treatment facilities, but it also has a solid local network of third party treatment facilities available for use. Each one of these facilities have passed stringent financial and environmental audits to ensure that our customer’s waste is handled in the most compliant and cost-effective manner possible.
