The Veolia North America (VNA) North Salt Lake, Utah office is a ten (10) day storage transfer facility and field office for management of hazardous waste. The facility is staffed with full time and part time field personnel capable of being reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (24/7). The office was opened in 1997 to service a 24/7 emergency response contract, and it has grown considerably into a full turnkey hazardous waste operation for our customers throughout Utah and parts of Idaho.

VeoliaNA-North Salt Lake is capable of storing several hundred drums under a very tight security system, however, due to our conditional use permit and frequent pick-ups from this facility, we typically will only have half or less than half of our capacity utilized at any given time.

Our field staff are all put through rigorous training programs and each hold a Class B Hazardous Waste Endorsed Commercial Drivers License to transport hazardous waste. They provide information support to our customers as well as the above mentioned services. We own and operate three (3) commercial/operation vehicles to service local customers, and then receive back-up support from our Henderson, Colorado office for long hauls or full semi truckloads.

The majority of waste that is managed through this facility is shipped to our Henderson, Colorado Part B Permitted Facility where it is either processed or shipped to the ultimate disposal facility. Those drums that can be legally stored longer than 10 days (Non-RCRA waste) are typically stored and then shipped direct to the ultimate disposal facility after a full truckload has been accumulated.
